Day: 23, 5/13/2013: Cosby Knob Shelter

12.9 miles hiked, Very chilly night in the shelter. It could have been better but there was no tarp across the front. This section trail drops off steeply on both sides.  Very thick brush and trees but very steep too.  It is deceptive because there is nowhere to go on either side.  I assumed any bears would probably be on the trail with me since there since there was nowhere for them to go either.
