If you are curious how I developed my website, there are some details here.

When I finished the AT, my mother said all her friends wanted to hear about the hike.  SO, I prepared a presentation for the North Hampton, NH Seniors group.  I have since prepared a couple other presentation for them.  

This page has a number of short videos of places I have hiked and climbed.

I am not a professional photographer by any means.  However, if you take hundreds of photos you are bound to get a few good ones.  These are some of my favorites.

Jen trains me Mondays and I take one of her fitness classes most Fridays. She generally crushes me until I am a sopping wet pile of sweaty spent cells. Check out her website, or, even better, sign up for some training!

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s (ATC) mission is to preserve and mange the Appalachian Trial. They oversea and help coordinate everything related the the AT with all the local AT clubs, AT communities, local and federal government, etc. They have a tough job! I recommend a donation if you can spare $20.00. It goes to a great cause.

The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) is the local club that manages the AT and various other outdoor areas from PA to ME. They get maligned a lot but they have a really tough job managing some of the heaviest traveled areas of the whole AT. Again, any donations you make will go to a great cause.

Todd Swain is a friend from grade school. He is an expert climber, author, and all around good guy. Check out his website for more info.

Amy was in our group when I attempted Mt. Denali. Amy rocks with the camera and takes great photographs – you can check out her work on her website.

I met Krispin on the AT somewhere around CT I think. We kept running into each other and then ended up hiking together for most of NH and ME to finish the trail. He has done a lot of interesting work and you can check his site out too.

I have never met Ron but he is a friend of a co-worker. He has done a lot of hiking in his life and is one of only two living founders of national scenic trails.

Through my buddy Todd, I found this woman’s website. I believe she is a niece of one of my grade school teachers. She has done some impressive hiking of the PCT and CDT. Hopefully she can pull off the triple-crown and get the AT next.
